The Goldberg is an 8-acre vineyard, which produces dense and concentrated fruit from old vines. The wine has ripe, juicy fruit, intense tannins and a strong mineral character from the terroir. Barrique aging has added spice and vanilla and some smokiness, but the wood does not dominate the powerful fruit flavors.——R.V.(10/1/2007)—— 90
