The heady and yummy 2015 Gessamí is an off-dry white blend of 40% Muscat, 35% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Gewurztraminer. It's very pale, floral and aromatic, a little heady which can be overpowering for food and might be more adequate as an aperitif. The nose and flavors are redolent of jasmine, and nicely combine the acidity with the sugar. The wine is called jasmine (in Catalan) after all... This is like drinking flowers. A whopping 300,000 bottles produced.

The low alcohol, off-dry 2014 Gessamí (jasmine in Catalan language) is a blend of 40% Moscatel, 35% Gewürztraminer and 25% Sauvignon Blanc, all aromatic grapes that are pressed directly in a new press purchased in 2014. The wine has 11.2% alcohol and eight grams of sugar. This is a very popular commercial style of white, which in this vintage shows very balsamic with some herbal undertones, aromas of white flowers and musky-spicy notes. Of course, given the name you are soon smelling jasmine in the glass. The palate has the balance of a Mosel Riesling, but the spirit is more Alsatian, with good harmony between acidity, alcohol and sugar. 220,000 bottles produced.

The 2012 Gessami is a light, low-alcohol blend of 40% Muscat de Frontignan, 40% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Gewurztraminer and 5% Muscat de Alexandria, very aromatic and showy, with spicy musky notes of jasmine, lychee, honeysuckle and pear, and an off-dry palate (it has nine grams of sugar). The 2009 Gessami Blanco is an exotic blend of Muscat d’Alexandria, Muscat de Fontignan, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewurztraminer raised in tank. It delivers a kinky bouquet of wet stone, spring flowers, baking spices, honey, and peach. The aromas suggest sweetness but on the palate the wine is dry, crisp, fruity, and very refreshing.
