Here's a fresh, easy-drinking red wine from Giacosa Fratelli, based in Neive in the greater Barbaresco growing area. The 2018 Nebbiolo d'Alba is quite beautiful and is a wine to drink straight out of the gate with a favorite Piemontese pasta dish such as agnolotti or tagliarin. This wine is all about simplicity and subtly, and that's exactly why it is such a natural food wine. It won't distract from any dish you pair it with, it will only enhance the flavors.
