The 2007 Welschriesling is disarmingly sassy and bright, full of juicy, fresh pineapple, and with lime, cress, and pepper notes that would do a Gruner Veltliner proud. This has considerable substance, yet lift and energy. Tart, faintly bitter, but thoroughly refreshing in its finish, it should be lovely at least throughout the coming year.
