The white 2020 Lalume is from Ribeiro and mixes grapes from the three valleys on sandy granite soils. It's a blend of mostly Treixadura, with some Albari?o and a little bit of Caí?o Blanco and Godello. It has typicity of the place, with notes of moss and river stones and a palate with depth, intensity and purity of flavors.

This distinctive, golden-hued version is broad and creamy on the palate, with soft, orange peel acidity and a light tang of salinity providing balance for the subtle notes of baked yellow peach, fresh hay, honeycomb and toasted almond. The first vintage of their white from Ribeiro, the 2015 Lalume is a wine of a low profile, almost experimental, as they hadn't showed it to many and released it without making any nose. To me, the wine is fresh and undeveloped, showing good typicity (it's pure Treixadura) and a lot of freshness. It has 13% alcohol, an expressive nose, a vibrant palate with pungent flavors and a fresh, long and dry finish. It comes from different vineyards in the valleys of Avia, Aronia and Mi?o and matured in a combination of French barriques, oak vats, concrete eggs and stainless steel vats. It's aging gracefully and slowly. This is a great debut.
