A strong effort from the hillside, the 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Aigrots Blanc evokes notions of citrus zest, crisp yellow orchard fruit, white flowers and toasted almonds. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, its generous mid-palate is girdled by bright acids and chalky structuring extract. It's a benchmark for the appellation.

The 2019 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Aigrots Blanc is bright and expressive, soaring from the glass with scents of Anjou pear, citrus oil, white flowers and hazelnuts. Medium to full-bodied, lively and precise, it's nicely concentrated, with brisk acids and a long, mineral finish.

Bursting with aromas of peach, white flowers and citrus zest, the 2018 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Aigrots Blanc is medium to full-bodied, deep and complete, with racy acids and chalky structuring dry extract. The Lafarge family produced this wine using a basket press after foulage this year, and that appears to have been the perfect foil to the ripe vintage.

Aromas of smoky green orchard fruit and ripe citrus fruits introduce the 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Les Aigrots Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, layered and incisive wine with good cut and flesh. Pretty and flavorful, this will offer a broad drinking window.
