Now bottled under screwcap, the 2019 Cotes du Rhone Villages Visan A Fleur de Pampre Blanc is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Bourboulenc meant for early consumption. This vintage is rather more subdued than previous efforts, with only hints of melon, pear and citrus. Medium-bodied and easy to drink, it's a pleasant quaff, but not up to the level of the reds from this excellent producer.

A blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Bourboulenc, the 2017 Cotes du Rhone Villages Visan A Fleur de Pampre Blanc offers lovely fruit-salad complexity, with hints of melon, guava and pineapple. Medium to full-bodied, it's plush and silky in texture, easy to drink and finishes long. The blend will incorporate Clairette starting in 2018.

A blend of Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier and Bourboulenc aged in concrete, the 2016 Cotes du Rhone Villages Visan A Fleur de Pampre Blanc is extremely fresh and lively but also plump and rounded, with pineapple and apricot flavors and a tangy finish. Drink it over the next year.
