The 2017 Meursault 1er Cru Blagny (Maison) is showing very well, wafting from the glass with aromas of waxy citrus rind, blanched almonds, fresh peach and nutmeg. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and satiny, with fine concentration and chewy extract, girdled in racy acids, and concluding with a precise, saline finish. This is showing good tension in bottle, and while it will be approachable young, it has the substance to improve with bottle age.
