The 2014 Meursault les Narvaux du Dessous comes from vines planted on deeper top soil than the upper enclaves of this village cru. Here, it was just missing a touch of complexity on the nose; it is a little reticent at the moment, just a hint of lemongrass and jasmine in the background. The palate is fresh on the entry and there is a pleasant fatness in the mouth with a decent line of acidity, though the saline finish feels just a little monochromatic at the moment. Let's see what turns out in bottle.
