An up-and-coming estate, Brunely’s 2006 Vacqueyras, aged 18 months in cement before bottling, is a charming, fruity, elegant effort. It possesses a nearly Pinot Noir-like style, but its Provencal/garrigue character assures that it is from the southern Rhone. Drink it over the next 5-6 years. No known American importer.
