A blend of 45% Sémillon, 21% Sauvignon Blanc and 34% Sauvignon Gris, the 2022 Ferrande Blanc is super expressive with aromas of pear, peach, spring flowers and orchard fruits. Medium to full-bodied, tense and fleshy with a salty-yet-spicy mid-palate, the finish is long, penetrating and fresh. It is matured for 15% in new barrels, the rest in tanks.

A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, the 2021 Ferrande Blanc exhibits aromas of grapefruit, white flowers, pastry cream and Sauvignon botanicals. Medium-bodied, chalky and tensile, marrying texture with cut, it concludes with a penetratingly saline finish.

The 2020 Ferrande Blanc has vague notes of lemon drops and apples with wafts of wet slate and white pepper. The palate has a racy acid backbone supporting the delicate, uncomplicated citrus and apple flavors, finishing refreshing.

The Ferrande 2018 Blanc gives up notions of fresh Bosc pears, green apples and waxy lemons with touches of dill seed and chalk dust. The palate is medium-bodied with loads of racy freshness, with a citrusy mid-palate and zesty finish.

A successful effort for the vintage, the 2013 Ferrande possesses chunky fruit, medium body, and good freshness. Drink it over the next 2-5 years.
