Medium garnet-purple colored, Cascabel’s 2009 El Sendero Tempranillo offers aromas of blackcurrant and blackberry with a touch of cedar and earthy undertones. Medium to full bodied, the palate provides a generous amount of warm berry and savory flavors with a good backbone of medium to firm chewy tannins and medium-high acid, finishing long. Drinking now, it should keep to 2016+. Importer: Southern Starz, Huntington Beach, CA; tel. (714) 892-3030
