This is a great value with 110,000 bottles released.

The 2020 Alto Adige Chardonnay is made in stainless steel only and with simple winemaking techniques aimed at preserving the freshness and snappy personality of this easy-drinking white. This northern Italian Chardonnay offers quince and white peach with apple, pear and a mild touch of sweet honey, perfect for some deep-fried zucchini sticks. These are clean and zippy results offered at a terrific low price. This was a production of 110,000 bottles.

The Cantina Tramin 2019 Alto Adige Chardonnay is a streamlined and informal wine that hits all the basic pleasure points. This entry-level Chardonnay is made in a simple manner, aged and fermented in stainless steel, and released early in order to capture the youthful character of the fruit. An ample 120,000 bottles were released at the beginning of the year. The wine is tonic and fresh with citrusy aromas, white rose and crunchy pear. All that pretty freshness would pair next to a plate of grilled prawns or fried calamari rings.
