Similar to the Aponte from the same year but with a little less oak, the 2010 Crianza feels polished but with some rugged tannins remaining. It has been in bottle since the fall of 2012. 70,000 bottles.

All wines showed surprisingly young, as was the case with the 2009 Crianza, which showed a nice combination of ripe fruit with some earthy hints. The palate was polished and felt nicely integrated, with fine tannins and good balance. 80,000 bottles produced.

There is a note of freshness in the nose of the 2008 Crianza, a wine that is well behind the vintages of similar wines from other growers. Orange peel, beef blood and spring flowers with an herbal hint point at a fresh vintage without excess ripeness. The soft palate is medium-bodied and polished with pleasant flavors of cherries. This is ready now. 64,680 bottles.

The 2006 Crianza has a nose of roasted sesame seeds, smoke and vanilla intermixed with blackberries, plums and dark cherries.
