The red 2021 Tinto is a fruit-driven, juicy, straightforward, pleasant and easy-to-drink red produced mostly with Tempranillo (but there's always some Garnacha). It has 13.8% alcohol and a mellow mouthfeel, clean flavors and finish. It's mostly unoaked and was kept in concrete, but a small percentage of the volume matured in new American oak barrels. 120,000 bottles.

The young and fruit-driven 2017 Tinto is a blend of Tempranillo with 10% Garnacha and 5% Mazuelo fermented in stainless steel with 30% of the volume being transferred to new and second use American oak barrels for some three months. It's juicy and chewy with fruit at the forefront. The palate is soft, with some fine tannins, quite young. 360,000 bottles produced. It was just bottled.

The exuberant 2014 Tinto is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and the rest Granacha and Mazuelo. This is a juicy, dark ruby-colored wine with attractive blackcurrant fruit touched by licorice and herbs. It is lush, round, juicy, and best consumed over the next year or so.

These wines are from the same producer as the Palacio del Burgo offerings reviewed later in this report, and, for my taste, seem almost identical to those wines. The 2013 Tinto reveals delicious, ripe, savory, black cherry and blackcurrant fruit intermixed with notions of tobacco leaf, spice box, new saddle leather and a lovely, lush, heady mouthfeel.
