The 2005 Crianza is 100% Tempranillo aged for 12 months in French oak. It exhibits an attractive nose of cedar, spice box, tobacco, earth notes and blackberry. This leads to a medium-bodied, elegant wine with plenty of ripe fruit, spice notes, and 2-3 years of aging potential. Drink this lengthy effort from 2010 to 2017. Edulis is a relatively new bodega, founded in 1998, with 40 hectares of vineyard in Fuenmajor (Rioja Alta). The 2001 Crianza is 100% Tempranillo aged for 12 months in French and American oak. It is dark ruby-colored with an expressive bouquet of cedar, leather, mineral, and blackberry.
