The 2008 Bravo de Rejadorada also spent 18 months in new French oak and was sourced from vines over 100 years of age. A glass-coating opaque purple color, it reveals a brooding nose of exotic spices, espresso, licorice, lavender, and blackberry. In the glass it displays even more power than the Sango bottling, as well as impeccable balance, exceptional length, and 6-8 years of cellaring potential. It will deliver peak drinking from 2018 to 2028 if not longer.
Bodega Rejadorada is a small producer making wine in the DO of Toro since 1999, all from 100% Tinta de Toro.
