The 2010 Gigliese impresses for its generous, fleshy fruit and up-front personality but loses much of its intensity on the finish. Here the fruit is decidedly riper and richer, but also less interesting from an aromatic and structural perspective. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2013.
I am perplexed by this set of wines from Bibi Graetz. Quality is inconsistent throughout the range, most disappointingly in the higher end bottlings.
