One of Baudry’s top wines, Le Clos Guillot is made from ungrafted vines, which seems to give an extra intensity to the fruit, as well as power to the tannins. The fruit and the tannins are dense, solid, intense and complex. This is a ripe, spice- and red fruit-flavored wine, certainly a wine for aging—up to 10 years, maybe more. ——R.V.(4/1/2007)—— 93
