Far better than the 2007 Syrah Canterbury Vineyard is the 2007 Syrah Block Six Canterbury Vineyard. The earthy, loamy, underbrush and forest floor notes are there, along with some roasted herbs, but there is a lot more berry fruit, a deeper, more velvety texture, and better ripeness and overall equilibrium.
