Cenit is one of Chile’s better known icon wines. The 2007 Cenit is made up of 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Malbec, and 20% Petit Verdot. It displays a classy aromatic array of pain grille, pencil lead, spice box, incense, blackcurrant, and black cherry. Reminiscent of a quality classified growth Bordeaux, it has plenty of ripe fruit, a firm structure, and several years of aging potential. It will offer a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2027. www.caliterra.cl
