Compared to the 1996 Greves, the 1995 Theurons is more loose-knit and moving more rapidly towards secondary aromas: forest floor, wild mushroom and a touch of wild mint. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins. There is a touch of abrasiveness on the entry, but it has a firm backbone and plenty of vigor on the masculine finish. For sure, it feels a little solid and foursquare, but this Theurons has just the right amount of dryness to urge another sip. Tasted December 2012.
