The tightly-knit, structured style of Au Bon Climat's Pinot Noirs is evident in the 1999 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard. A dark ruby color is followed by aromas of plums, earth, cherries, and figs. The wine is medium-bodied, with well-integrated, but high acidity, noticeable wood, and a tight style with good depth as well as ripeness. It can be drunk over the next 7-8 years. Tel. (805) 937-9801
