The 2011 CUNE Crianza jumps out of the glass with pure raspberry aromas and has a very fresh palate, with perfectly integrated oak and fine tannins. Highly drinkable, text-book Crianza at a very good price. You can drink it now to enjoy its fruity exuberance, but it should develop for a few years in bottle. Very good value. Drink 2014-2018.
CVNE seems to have improved its basic range of wines in the last few years, which is very good news, as they seem to be readily available and with attractive prices. The Imperial Gran Reserva is back at the helm of quality.
