The 2001 Barbera d’Asti Superiore Nizza (the town of Nizza Monferrato has given its name to the sub-zone in which they operate) is sweeter, spicier, and fuller than the regular bottling but with a roundness of texture and complete fusion of the notes of plum fruit vanilla, and cloves which indicate careful and capable cellar work.
