The 2017 Pinot Noir Grand Assemblage opens earthy on the nose with tree bark, dried soil, tobacco leaf and tar, giving way to Bing cherries, fresh cranberries and dried citrus peel. It's medium-bodied with concentrated, earth-laced red fruits, firm, grainy tannins and good freshness, finishing long with lots of earthy nuance. 600 cases produced.
