The 2004 Shiraz Albert was aged for 24 months in 30% new and 70% old French oak. A superb effort, it reveals a full-bodied, concentrated style with an inky/blue/purple color, loads of creme de cassis, blackberry, smoke, and earth characteristics, and a rich, pure, impressive personality.
