The Mazis-Chambertin is one of the two most concentrated wines from Jadot in the 1987 vintage. It has an intense, deep ruby color, a spicy, earthy, rich, plummy bouquet, and gobs of fruit and tannin. This suggests that it will be at its best between 1993-2005. It is an impressive 1987 with more of a kinship to a 1985 than 1987.

Deliciously harmonious and complete red Burgundy from the spicy-oaky aroma to the pure beam of cherry and strawberry flavors, to the lingering, almost sweet finish.
