Bright red. Smoke, raspberry and cherry on the nose, complicated by cracked pepper and Indian spices. Youthfully taut on entry, then becomes plumper in the middle and offers sweet red and dark berry preserve flavors. Tangy acidity adds lift but doesn't detract from the sweet berry and vanilla flavors. Very attractive and decidedly New World in style, with very good finishing cling and sweetness.
