This is a simple and stripped-down blend of Corvina, Molinara (using a proprietary clone) and Sangiovese. The Masi Serego Alighieri 2018 Possessioni Rosso is a versatile entry-level wine with the cool cherry and dried raspberry aromas to pair next to a classic roast chicken. Cherrywood barrels are used to age the wine for a very brief three months, and you taste some of the sweetness that comes from those containers. An ample 165,000 bottles were produced, and this vintage is thinner than we've seen in the past.
