The 1998 Pinot Noir exhibits an evolved garnet color as well as an attractive bouquet of underbrush, grilled meats, dried herbs, and sweet, cherry, plum, and raspberry-like fruit. Spicy oak complements the ripe, sweet black fruit flavors. This wine cuts a medium to full-bodied swath across the palate. Good acidity gives uplift and delineation.
