The 2004 Limnio, an ancient Greek grape, has developed quite well and opened beautifully since I first saw it. The tannins have integrated much better and so have its other components. There is just a bit of intensity on the finish. The earthy nose still follows through onto the palate, but it is a nuance now, giving the wine a vaguely Piemontese feel, but with that slight bitter chocolate note on the finish. It has modest depth, but shows reasonable complexity and the fruit is wide open now. For the original price, it is pretty nice and rather charming. Drink now-2014.
