The 2000 Wine Obsession, is ostensibly the top of the line wine, a selection of the estate’s best Cabernet, Merlot, and Syrah. Bright ruby in color, its attractively warm aromas of berry fruit and light oak spices are matched by firm flavors, polished tannins, and a stylish elegance of character. The acidity on the tail, however, is perceptible and limits the volume and sense of roundness. Drink: 2005-2012.
