Offering a slightly more youthful and straightforward presentation, the 2012 A Quo shows a little less depth compared to the 2013 vintage. The bouquet delivers a wide range of aromas spanning fresh berry to savory spice. This is a blend of up to five different red grapes (including Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese). No one single grape stands up before the rest. Montepeloso has produced a seamless blend. The wine presents a unified front with good textural richness. It drinks beautifully at the present, but should hold without a problem for ten years to come.
