I loved both of the 2005s from Domaine des Amouriers. Looking at the 2005 Vacqueyras Cuvee Signature, it’s a blend of 75% Grenache and 25% Syrah that was brought up all in concrete tank. It’s a classic, textbook effort that yields lots of garrigue, dried flowers, spice and sweet kirsch and blackberry fruit. Medium-bodied, rounded, supple and beautifully textured, enjoy this rock-star effort over the coming 2-4 years.
