The 2006 Petit Verdot displays a deep garnet color and pronounced spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, fenugreek and cumin seeds over warm mulberries and kirsch, raspberry preserves and some underbrush. Medium to full-bodied with plenty of complex berry and savory flavors, it is well supported by high acidity and a medium level of silky tannins. The finish is long and spicy. Drink this one now to 2016+.
