Roasted herbs and black fruits can be discerned in the aromatics of the 2002 Pic St.-Loup–Coteaux du Languedoc. Medium-bodied and with considerable power, this excellent value boasts an appealing personality crammed with tar-laced blackberries and black currants. Anticipated maturity: now-2008. Incidentally, the 1998 Pic St.-Loup–Coteaux de Languedoc Vieilles Vignes was recently tasted. It has reached its plateau of maturity and is well-deserving of the 89 points it was attributed in Issue #127. It should be drunk over the next 2-3 years.Importer: Dan Kravitz - Hand Picked Selections, Warrenton, VA; tel. (540) 347-9400
