The light salmon-colored 2004 Costieres de Nimes (Rose) displays a nose of dark cherries and blackberries. A blend of 70% Grenache, 15% Mourvedre, and 15% Carignan, it is a satin-textured, light to medium-bodied wine with sweet red as well as black fruit flavors. A note of pepper can be detected in the finish of this pretty, delicate offering. Drink this excellent value over the next 6-9 months. Importer: Robert Kacher Selections, Washington, DC; tel.
