The firm's Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers has an intense bouquet of ripe raspberries, cherries, and toasty oak. It is made from some of Faiveley's oldest vines, and is a big, well-structured, medium- to full-bodied wine that ideally needs 2 to 3 years, perhaps even longer in the bottle to resolve its tannins. It is one of the larger-scaled wines from Faiveley in 1987. It may be one of the few wines from this vintage that can age well for 10 to 15 years.
