Light and pretty is the best way to describe this tasty, racy wine. Your basic berry and cherry aromas get a lift from lavender and citrus rind nuances. The flavor profile is all red cherry, but it’s mildly rustic and leathery, too. The finish is tight, clean and a bit airy. Balanced and proper; a really nice Beaujolais. ——M.S.(11/15/2002)—— 87
