It is undoubtedly exciting to see so many new wineries represented in the United States. However, with wines such as this, the pricing seems, at the minimum, comical and frankly absurd. This is a full-bodied, powerful wine with plenty of oak as well as intriguing mineral and citrus notes. In short, this a good glass of Chardonnay, the likes of which there must be thousands available that would rate this well but cost $50 to $60 less per bottle. For $85.00 I expect something prodigious. Drink it over the next 1-2 years.Importer: Dan Philips, The Grateful Palate, Oxnard, CA; tel. (888) 472-5283
