The 2008 Pinot Noir Estate is a blend of 3 parcels aged in 50% new oak. Medium ruby red with a pleasing perfume of cedar, spice box, rose petal, cherry, and cranberry, on the palate it is packed with spicy fruit, has ample ripe tannin, and good balance. Light in color, but not in flavor, this appealing wine brings pomegranate, cranberry, tart cherry and lots of spice front and center. Baking spices rule the midpalate, elevated with crisp, citrusy acids, and the wine flows into a finish with leaf and herb highlights.
