Enrico Santini has made quite a name for himself in Bolgheri in a short space of time, and the 2003 Poggio al Moro does much to explain the attention he has attracted. Though only the regular bottling, the ample aromas of plums and raspberries, tar and chocolate are matched by pure and focused flavors, long and lingering, and with a rising density on the close.
