The 2014 Chambolle Musigny Villages comes from two parcels in Derrière le Four and the village section of Beaux-Bruns. It has a more compelling bouquet than the Fixin Village with mint-tinged black fruit, even a suggestion of tobacco as it opens. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and bright red berry fruit that segues into quite a structured, Morey-like finish. Not bad at all.
