These offerings, from the under-rated, but potentially outstanding Livermore Valley viticultural region, are remarkably full-flavored. The 1990 Chardonnay is a big, full-bodied, concentrated, rich wine. Exuberant and fleshy, with plenty of buttery, apple-like, honeyed fruit, as well as a subtle touch of oak, this excellent Chardonnay should make highly enjoyable drinking for at least another year.
