The Bonnes Mares is well worth searching out as it is truly great, and one of the very top wines of the vintage. It has a gorgeous, complete bouquet of herbs, rich berry fruits, spicy new oak, and exotic spices. Rich with a chewy, fleshy texture, and fresh acidity, it has one of the longest finishes of any wine I have tasted from this vintage. Drinkable now, this wine should get better over the next 5 or 6 years and last for a decade thereafter.
