Pale yellow colored, the reductively styled 2014 Rheingau Riesling Trocken still has a lot of CO2 from the fermentation (but low sulfur and just two filtrations); it opens with a clear and delicate white stone fruit flavor. Very clear, fresh and mineral on the palate, this is a light, gracile and frisky, very well structured and persistent dry Riesling with an excellent grip. This is the first bottling from March (AP #0315).
