The 2014 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, matured in 50% new oak, has a composed, lemon thyme and limestone-scented bouquet that has good vigor and delineation. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, slightly waxy in texture, harmonious with citrus lemon, pineapple, quince and a touch of lemongrass towards the finish. This is a very elegant Corton-Charlemagne from Thibault Marion and given the substance, it should age with style.
