Tasting the black raspberry and dark cherry-scented 2002 Pommard Jarollieres, I could not help myself and asked Mr. Landanger what he’d done differently. Though concentrated like the others, this wine exhibits espresso bean-tinged dark fruit flavors in a firmly structured, stemmy character.
