The 2011 Pinot Gris has aromas of warm peaches, poached pears and guava with hints of allspice and honeydew melon. Full bodied, richly fruited and off-dry (9.6 grams per liter of residual sugar) in the mouth, it has just enough acid to balance and a long spicy finish. Drinking nicely now, it should keep through 2014.
